New WhatsApp app for Mac users now offers group calling

Earlier this year, WhatsApp introduced a new desktop app for Windows users, and now we're bringing the same improved experience to Mac users.

With the new WhatsApp for Mac app, you can now make group calls from your Mac for the first time, connecting with up to 8 people on video calls and up to 32 people on audio calls. You can now join a group call after it starts, view your call history, and choose to receive incoming call notifications even when the app is closed.

This app has been redesigned to fit the needs of Mac users, helping you get more done faster when using WhatsApp on a large screen. You can now share files by easily dragging and dropping them into a chat, and you can also view more of your chat history.
