Over time, our chats become a record of important moments: conversations with family, laughs with friends, and photos and videos we can't stop sharing. To help you make the most of all these features, we're introducing new ways to make WhatsApp easier to use, helping you stay organized, balance work and personal life, and get the most out of every chat.
Free up space, keep what matters: As your chats grow, so can the clutter. Now you can find and delete large files directly from any chat, so you can remove what you don't need without deleting your entire conversation. Simply tap the chat name and select "Manage storage." You can also choose to delete only media files when deleting chat content, keeping the chat history intact.
Transferring chats from one platform to another is easy: Our chat transfer feature now supports transferring chat history from iOS to Android, as well as within the same platform. Changing phones shouldn't be complicated. Now, with just a few taps, you can easily transfer your chats, photos, and videos.
Two accounts, one phone – now on iOS: You can now log into two WhatsApp accounts simultaneously on iOS – just like on your Android device. No need to keep separate phones for work and personal use. You'll always be able to tell which account you're using, as your profile picture will be displayed in the bottom tab.
Stickers to match your mood: Stickers can add more expressive power to your chats, and now WhatsApp will make it easier to use them by suggesting them as you type emojis. With a single tap, you can replace any emoji with a sticker that perfectly captures how you're feeling.
Image enhancement using Meta AI: You can now use Meta AI to enhance images directly in your chat before sending them, making it easy to remove distractions, change the background, or use a fun style. Meta AI features may not be available to all users.
The AI-powered writing assistance feature is even more useful: The writing assistance feature can now create a draft of a suggested reply based on your conversation, so you can phrase your message as you wish, while keeping your chats private at the same time.
These features are being rolled out now and will be available to everyone soon. We hope these features will make using WhatsApp easier.
